The UIL journalism team placed first at the district academic meet this past Friday. The team consists of Ryan Quist, Maritza Gonzalez, Ashlyne Moss, Salma Gutierrez and Daniel Rangel (not pictured). The team is coached by Kathryn Broome. All 5 members will advance to the regional academic meet in Lubbock.
