PHS Robotics Team To Compete

The TCEA Area 16 Robotics Competition will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018  at Region 16 located at 5800 Bell Street in Amarillo from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Sixty three teams composed of over 200 students will be participating in four different robotics competitions.  Students from 4th-12th grades will design and program Lego-based robots to perform specific tasks.   Perryton High School students will to have two teams that will compete in Advanced Arena, and one team compete in Advanced Inventions.  Other teams competing include teams from Dimmitt ISD, Happy ISD, Pampa ISD, Amarillo ISD, Plemons-Stinnett-Phillips Cons ISD, Silverton ISD, The Well STEM Center, Canyon ISD, Panhandle ISD, Pringle-Morse Cons ISD, Clarendon ISD, Hart ISD, Lefors ISD, Hereford ISD, and Kelton ISD.

Perryton High School teacher Crystal Vidaurri is the team sponsor.
