Rigdon Signs with Tech

PISD long jump record holder, Dalton Rigdon, signed  a letter of intent with Texas Tech University Monday.  His State Championship sign was also revealed in Ranger Gym.

Scholarships Awarded at Assembly

PHS Welders Very Successful at FPC Borger Competition

7 students went to a welding competition at FPC in Borger on Friday 04/21/17
Israel Uribe 2nd place first year
Matthew Cano 1st place first year full paid dual credit next year

Edgar Mendoza 3rd place second year
John Chesser 2nd place second year
David Borunda 1st place second year $1000 scholarship to FPC upon graduation

Competed against 7 other schools adding up to about 27 other contestants.

63 PHS Seniors Still Eligible for Pathways Scholarship.

The Perryton Pathways Scholarship program began just over four years ago.  This year's PHS seniors are the first class to have the opportunity to earn a free two year scholarship to Frank Phillips College. To earn the scholarship, student must meet Grade, Attendance and Discipline standards for all four years of high school at Perryton High School.  As of this week, 63 seniors have earned that honor.  According to Pathways Director, Brenna Vela, over 20 students have expressed their intent to accept the offer and attend FPC next fall. Congratulations to all these hard working students.
